“Plot & Build” is a collaborative service where our company acts as the “artist (coder)” to help bring your ideas to life.
Just like in manga production, where the story and the art are handled separately, “Plot & Build” brings together those with ideas and those with implementation skills to create more diverse and appealing plugins.
“Plot & Build” is a co-creation service where idea owners (“original writers”) and our developers collaborate to create original kintone plugins.
For example, we welcome ideas tailored to specific industries or niche solutions that may not be widely applicable but solve real problems for certain users or teams.
You don’t need to plan for sales — we also accept projects intended for internal company use only.
Service Overview
The creator proposes an idea or specification, and we handle implementation, UI design, and testing based on it.
The resulting plugin can be distributed or sold under the creator’s own brand.
Just like the collaboration between story and art in manga creation, “Plot & Build” merges imagination with technical expertise to turn your story into reality within kintone.
Please note that not all requests can be accepted. We may decline a project in the following cases:
- When the proposed plugin is substantially similar to our or other companies’ existing plugins
- When it may infringe on others’ copyrights, patents, or trademarks
- When the theme does not feel interesting or challenging to us
Pricing
Base production fee: ¥300,000 (tax included)
We will provide a quotation before development begins and start only after your approval.
Additional fees (from several tens of thousands of yen) may apply depending on the number of screens, settings, and overall scale of the plugin.
Additional fees will also apply for feature additions or specification changes after delivery.
Rights and Terms of Use
Creator’s Rights
- Creators are free to use, sell, or distribute the developed plugin.
- There are no restrictions on sales price or distribution channels.
- Please include our company name and a link to our official website when the plugin is released publicly. (Not required for internal-only use.)
Developer (Our Company) Rights
- All source code copyrights and intellectual property belong to our company.
- Modification, redistribution, or redevelopment of the source code by the creator is not permitted.
- If you wish to request modifications or version upgrades, they will be carried out by our company or a designated developer appointed by us.
Even if a designated developer performs the work, all copyrights and intellectual property rights shall remain with our company.
Other Intellectual Property Notes
- Third-party materials (such as images, fonts, or APIs) must be properly licensed by the creator as needed.
- Creators must ensure that their ideas and specifications do not infringe on existing works or patents.
- Common libraries or templates developed by our company may be reused in other projects.
Usage Options
- Plugins for internal company use (non-public, non-commercial) are also welcome.
- Regardless of the usage type, modification, redistribution, or redevelopment of the source code is not permitted. Any such requests will be handled by our company or a designated developer appointed by us.
